A cold compress helps with pain, while a warm compress helps stimulate blood flow throughout the area. This includes stretching and gentle massage along the jaw line, which will increase blood flow and allow the muscles to relax. It is also recommended that people avoid any stressful action on the jaw, such as singing, yawning or laughing.

Of course, this is not the only treatment for TMJ methods that patients can try. In some cases, doctors can simply prescribe painkillers to eliminate the discomfort of this condition. Note that you can assign two procedures simultaneously, depending on the severity of the condition. Always remember that the possible causes of TMJ may vary from one person to another.
