Take Generic Glucovance by mouth with a glass of water.
If you take Generic Glucovance once a day, take it with breakfast or the first main meal of the day.
Take Generic Glucovance at the same time each day. Do not take more often than directed.
Do not crush, chew, or break an extended-release tablet. Swallow the pill whole.
Elderly patients over 65 years old may have a stronger reaction and need a smaller dose.

Missing a dose
Do not take double dose. If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as you remember about your missing. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule.

Symptoms of Generic Glucovance overdosage: extreme weakness, blurred vision, sweating, trouble speaking, tremors, stomach pain, confusion, and seizure (convulsions), increasing sleepiness, slow heart rate, cold feeling, muscle pain, shortness of breath, feeling light-headed, and fainting.
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) away from moisture and heat. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children.
